Card of the Day - Friday, October 5, 2007

The Death Card is on the scene for today's card of the day. Be not dismayed by the implications of the title of today's card. The Death Card, for the unknowing, has the worst false reputation of the tarot. Even though, the card is entitled death, the card rarely signifies physical death. Again, falling right into the succession of this week's card's so far, death would signify again that changes in energies are at hand. The Death Card, is calling upon us to allow ourselves to kill off and remove that which is no longer of service. Just as you would prune a plant that has browning leaves, or faded blooms. In order to allow the plant the full ability to utilize its energies in revitalization, we prune it. With the empowerment at hand this week, now would be an excellent time to do a little trimming. That which is frustrating you, can be easily released. You can choose to remain in frustration or be freed from your angst. One of the strongest symbols on the face of The Death Card, is that of the white rose of purity and innocence. This represents to us that the process need not be painful, and leads us to the process of our full blooming. I have noticed a great deal in the recent past, that I have spoken to many of the aspect of purifying their lives through the release of all that no longer serves them. I was even told by my dear friend Ron Bailey that the action he felt led to tell me to take was to simply let go of everything. I did, and energies of change have overtaken me, clearing away obstacles, and illusions. It is not always the easiest approach, and it requires a lot of faith and reminding to just let go, but it is definitely worth the effort. The results are weighing in as positive.
